Linde Hellas belongs to the German group The Linde Group, a world-class leader in the production of cryogenic gases (oxygen, nitrogen, argon etc.) with a specialization in special gases and applications.
The Linde Group is named after its founder, Dr. Carl von Linde, who was the first to develop a method for producing oxygen, nitrogen, argon and other rare elements through the separation of liquefied air. This method has been named after him (“Linde” method) in international literature.
Linde Hellas is the older company among the nineteen of The Linde Group which belong to the South East Europe and Middle East.
As a leading company in the Greek gas market, Linde Hellas owns:
three filling stations in Mandra (Attiki) – Sindos (Thessaloniki) and Schimatari (Viotia),
two air separation units (ASU) in Mandra (Attiki) and Elefsina and
one on-site oxygen production plant in Almyros (Volos).
In addition, the company operates eight distribution centers and has a large variety of partnerships strategically located to serve efficiently customers in the entire Greek territory.
Furthermore, Linde Gas Bitola in Skopje (FYROM) as a subsidiary of Linde Hellas operates a carbon dioxide production plant contributing in the efficient serving of our customers not only in Greece but also in Balkanian countries.
