We prepare a number of other homecare services for patients with respiratory conditions and other chronic conditions.
Aerosol therapy
Aerosol-based therapies are becoming increasingly important as the prevalence of chronic respiratory conditions increases in many parts of the world.
Aerosol therapies are used to treat chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), as well as acute infectious illnesses such as pneumonia.
In aerosol therapy, a nebuliser is used to break down the medication into a mist of drug droplets. When the patient breathes in, this delivers medication quickly and directly into the airways and deep into the lungs in order to relieve symptoms.
